PlaySlow or Laggy UI
Troubleshoot slow phone, inventory, and menu interactions in FiveM.
If menus feel slow while the rest of the game also stutters, start with the performance guide. UI responsiveness can suffer when your GPU is fully occupied.
- From the FiveM main menu, open Settings → Game. If your client offers Fix UI lag at high GPU usage, turn it on and restart FiveM.
- Close unused overlays and graphics-heavy applications. In game, lower demanding graphics settings one at a time and check whether the menu becomes responsive.
- If only one menu is affected, reconnect once and note which menu, action, and time caused the delay.
If a specific Everfall menu continues to lag, use /report or create a support ticket. Include a short recording and your approximate frame rate if you can. The FiveM client issues guide is also useful when menus lag on multiple servers.
